Sorry, no space battle today.
I have a habit of the “slow burn” in my writing. When it comes to graphic novels or single-issue comics, this is usually frowned upon. But I like these moments in fiction, so it’s not much of a surprise that they’re present in my own works. This is coming from the guy who took a bathroom break during Superman Returns during the mini-gun scene so he could be present for the Lois/Superman rooftop scene.
Yep. I’m boring.
The other day I was really motivated to write, and I hammered out the 71st page in FOTB. I want to tell you guys, it’s going to get crazy. I’m so excited for where we’re headed, and it really requires character moments like these. Then again, I do just love watching a good fight.
Just read through. I’m enjoying the premise. I get kind of a Firefly-esque feel from it. I was a bit confused about the story going in, but your “About” page (which I just checked after reading it all. Maybe make it the first page or something? I dunno) actually clarifies it perfectly. Looking forward to reading more.
