Update 89: Setups

October 1, 2015 12:01 am

Hopefully this reads well. NAV Corp had a whole planet all to themselves for who knows how long! What happens now that the government finds out, and how that impacts our little intrepid band, are questions left to the next arc. That all depends entirely on you! If this title is picked up by a publisher, the hope would be to continue the story. If not, we’d like to know if there’s interest enough to warrant a Kickstarter campaign. So let us know in the comments below this comic– should we pursue another chapter? What would you like to see?

This is easily one of the most rewarding, satisfying creative endeavors of my career, and I’m so proud to have done this with Nic and Pedro and Jeremy. An unbelievable amount of work went into it, and I couldn’t be more proud. Thanks also have to go to Jojo and Hiveworks for inviting us aboard and giving us space. Heh. Space.

Talk soon!

  1. Thornbrier says:

Hiveworks (the hosting site) lists this comic as completed, and it’s been about 2 years since the last update or the last activity on Facebook, so I think it’s safe to say it’s done.

  2. Tassit says:

Is.. this coming going to continue? Or is it done?

  3. Kllr Wolf says:

I would back a kickstarter if I know it happens. I am not the best on checking back with something that may have ended already.

  4. Brandon says:

I found this comic a few weeks ago after finding your YouTube channel, ComicPOP, just a few months ago and I have to say that it is fantastic! The tone of each character was strong. The art had a great style and was executed spectacularly (ESPECIALLY the coloring). And the story was simply stupendous. I loved the ride you took us on (or should I say flight?) and I would happily support it via Kickstarter. Keep doing what you’re doing, because you do it well.

  5. Professor Fate says:

Kickstarter? Count me in. New chapter? Definitely! The art and story have been excellent. I’d like to see more from you guys.

  6. simon says:

Nice. I will contribute to kickstarter.

  7. Liger says:

    This is so cool

  8. MikeyLikesIt says:

I’d love to see a kickstarter as well. And I really liked the twist here.

  9. Cichawoda says:

One of the best online comics… yes I’d support a Kickstarter.

  10. Raith says:

    Aw… the end?

I’d back a Kickstarter for a published book, and I agree with others that what seems like a pretty small universe just got a lot bigger.

  11. Ken says:

Go for it. I think this would make an excellent Kickstarter.

  12. nikolai60 says:

An interesting start, I wish you guys luck!

  13. Tom says:

    KICKSTART AWAY!!!!

  14. Dirk says:

Happily support a Kickstarter and hope it gets picked up for more as well. Thank you for a great story and characters.

    Best of luck

  15. gimel says:

I’d buy that! Kickstart away. Just send me a note – you already have my email.

  16. Pendragon says:

I’d say attempt to start up a kickstarter campaign; I’ve enjoyed the story so far, and it’d be a shame if it just up and died right on this little cliffhanger. Either way, thanks for the read and good luck with finding a publisher/crowdfunding your goal to victory.

  17. Tim says:

I’d happily back a Kickstarter to publish book 1 and help towards making a book 2 happen. Feels to me like things are winding up into a who,e bigger galaxy, a not-so-little-after-all space story.

Thanks for the ride, hope to see more.
